FAQs | Amanda Haas Massage Therapy PLLC

Question 1

How do I book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

You can book online through the booking link on this site, or reach out directly by phone or email. Same-day appointments may be available — just ask!

Question 2

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

I ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. Life happens — just communicate and we'll work it out.

Question 3

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Accepted Answer

Same-day availability varies. The best way to check is to contact me directly by phone or email and I'll let you know what's open.

Question 4

What should I expect during my first visit?

Accepted Answer

We'll start with a brief intake conversation so I can understand your goals, any areas of concern, and your pressure preferences. From there, I'll tailor the session specifically to you. Every visit begins with a gentle scalp and forehead massage to help you settle in.

Question 5

How early should I arrive?

Accepted Answer

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This gives you time to complete any intake paperwork and get settled without cutting into your session time.

Question 6

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

You'll undress to your comfort level and be draped with a sheet throughout the session. Only the area being worked on is ever uncovered. Your comfort and privacy are always the priority.

Question 7

Can I talk during my session?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — it's entirely up to you. Some clients prefer complete quiet for deep relaxation, while others enjoy conversation. I follow your lead and am fully present either way.

Question 8

What types of massage do you offer?

Accepted Answer

I offer a wide range of services including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Pregnancy, Reflexology, Chakra Balancing, Aromatherapy, and more. Visit the Services page for the full menu and pricing.

Question 9

Do you offer gift cards?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Gift cards are available for any amount and make a wonderful gift for friends, family, or yourself. You can purchase them directly through this site.

Question 10

What is included with every session?

Accepted Answer

Every session includes complimentary extras: a weighted lavender eye pillow, heated towel for the face, cozy heated neck wrap, heated hand mittens, hot towels for the feet, a soothing heated back pad, and a free goodie bag and refreshing beverage to take home.

Question 11

Are there any conditions that would prevent me from getting a massage?

Accepted Answer

Certain medical conditions may require a doctor's clearance before receiving massage therapy. If you have any concerns, please reach out before booking and we can discuss what's right for you.

Question 12

Is massage safe during pregnancy?

Accepted Answer

Yes — I am trained in prenatal massage and take extra care to ensure comfort and safety throughout. Please let me know you are pregnant when booking so I can prepare accordingly.
